Overview

We are seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant for an award winning company based in Galway.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and rapidly growing company in Connaught

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with month end close and delivery in accordance with group deadlines
• Maintain select Balance Sheet accounts, including, but not limited to; inter-company reconciliations, accrual listings, prepayment listings
• Prepare audit schedules and roll forward of audit files
• Liaise with external auditors
• Monthly/Weekly accounting duties for all trading entities
• Ad hoc reporting as required

Key requirements:

• 3+ years PQE experience
• Experience within construction, utilities or engineering sectors is beneficial but not essential
• Strong IT skills, including experience of ERP systems, SAP would be an advantage.
• Experience in accounts preparation, analysis and reconciliation.
• Deadline and performance driven, with attention to details.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Actively support Continuous Improvement.
